Joya Sengupta
Executive Director, Education Support Services
Joya’s deep passion for the FAS mission, service mindset, and organizational leadership helped reshape ESS into its current form. She began her career in IT and strategic consulting, served as the IT PMO Director at the Commonwealth of MA’s Executive Office of Administration and Finance and spent a year as the Interim CIO of the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM). At Harvard, she started on the Enterprise PMO team, leading large complex projects for Central Administration, before joining the FAS. Mary DiSalvo, Ph.D.
Associate Director of the Language Center
Mary DiSalvo began working at the Language Center in the fall of 2019 in a support role. She is currently leading everyday operations and strategic planning for the LC. Her current projects include the Harvard Language Exchange, professional development events and programming, and self-access language-learning resources. Contact her at disalvo@fas.harvard.edu
Andrew Ross, Ph.D.
Senior Director for Teaching & Learning Support, ESS
Dr. Ross leads the team of ESS technical staff and managers responsible for enabling the use of audiovisual equipment in the classroom instruction service. He is strongly committed to successful outcomes for students and to the development of stakeholder skills that enhance teaching and learning within the FAS. Joseph (Joe) Williams
Director of Design & Engineering, ESS
Joe leads the Design & Engineering team for ESS. He is responsible for consulting with architects, engineers, planners, end users consulting with architects, engineers, planners, end users and other various stakeholders to collaboratively engineer audiovisual systems for permanent and non-permanent solutions. Ahmednur (Oz) Osman
Director, Event and Media Production, ESS
Oz Osman, leads Event and Media Production team responsible for live event production and creative media. Oz has over 20 years of experience in the Pro-AV and broadcasting industry. Mariana Lincoln Quinn
Manager, Piano Technical Services
Mariana Lincoln Quinn joined PTS in 2007 and has been the Manager of the department since 2009. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston with a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science and Geographic Information Systems. After one year as an AmeriCorps member and three years in the field of GIS, she followed in her father’s footsteps and began her education in piano technology at the North Bennet Street School in Boston, graduating in 2005. After developing a private practice, she was hired at Harvard as a part time piano technician before taking on this leadership role. Contact her at lincoln@fas.harvard.edu
Tanya Washburn
Manager, Assistive Technology Center
Tanya Washburn joined the ATC in 2005, has been a supervisor since 2008 and became the manager in 2022. In the time she has been here the lab has more than doubled in size, and expanded the services offered to students. Tanya has presented at Accessing Higher Ground in Boulder about “Supporting Languages You Don’t Speak” about creating electronic text and Braille for students here at Harvard. She is currently part of the Local Disability Coordinator and Digital Accessibility Liaison working groups. Contact her at washbur2@fas.harvard.edu
